Should Christoph Waltz and Jimmy Kimmel Star in the Siegfried and Roy Biopic?

Magical fairy tale creature Christoph Waltz has a history of doing gloriously silly things. Did you ever watch his “Der Humpink” video? The one where he humps a lamp? (It’s below. You owe it to yourself to watch. Marvel at his weirdness. Seriously, he puts a little red bow on everything he thrusts his pelvis at.) Waltz has chewed scenery in films like Green Hornet and Inglorious Basterds, and is currently appearing with Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd‘s abs in The Legend of Tarzan. To promote those abs the film, he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, chatting with Kimmel about how he never gets cast as a good guy and how he believes people can’t live in Las Vegas. (He thought it was created so people don’t live there. Kimmel explained that it was created so people could be conceived there.)

Speaking of Las Vegas, Kimmel talked about that one time he and Waltz faux-auditioned for the upcoming Siegfried & Roy film. Yeah, it’s a skit, but the wigs are worth skipping that cat video you were saving for later. The guys dress up in some super-flashy clothes that the tiger-taming couple would kill for, and began the audition by arguing about which one was Roy. They decided to both be Roy, though Waltz did a little better with the German accent. (He’s Austrian, in case you didn’t know.) Kimmel’s terrible accent made the line, “not the magician,” into “Nazi magician.” He also tried to justify saying “balloon” as “by-yoon.” “It’s how Germans say balloon!” You know, like “99 Luft By-yoon!” The best thing about this entire video is that someone actually knows the lyrics to that weird-ass ’80s song! Come for the shiny outfits. Stay for Kimmel’s attempt to scream like a tiger is eating his head.

Check out the video (and “Der Humpink”) and let us know what you think. Tweet me/us @JennaBusch/@Nerdist and tell us if you agree–and I’m just throwing this out there–that those outfits kind of make you think of Cersei’s final one in the Game of Thrones finale.
