SESAME STREET Meets THE AVENGERS in: Aveggies: Age Of Bon Bon

What to do when the evil Bon Bon starts ruining all the healthy snacks on Planet Earth? You call in… The Aveggies!

This latest installment of Sesame Street‘s long history of pop culture parody comes just days before Marvel’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron hits theaters, and what better analog to The Incredible Hulk than Cookie Monster’s, let’s call it The Insatiable Bulk?

TheAveggies’ Ultron-y nemesis Bon Bon has sent his Giant Chocolate Ship to ruin all the healthy snacks of the world and it’s up to Dr. Brownie – played by Cookie Monster – and his super eating ability to save the day. As OnionMan keeps the ship busy, Brownie’s the only one who can stop it. The problem is, he just isn’t focused enough on his goal and is distracted by Captain AmeriCauliflower’s cookie-shaped shield. To make things worse, his attention is further diverted by The Mighty Corn’s hammer, which resembles a roasted marshmallow.

Trying to keep him on the task at hand, Zucchin-Eye does his best to lend a helping hand but isn’t taken very seriously (just like his Marvel counterpart). Luckily, Zucchin-Eye does manage to inspire Dr. Brownie into action with the use of his, what he swears are “super cool,” binoculars. An incredulous Black Bean Widow worries that Dr. Brownie couldn’t possibly be hungry and is let in on Dr. Brownie’s secret:

“That me secret. Me always hungry”

Cookie then Hulks out and eats the Chocolate Ship. With Bon Bon defeated, healthy snacks safe and the day saved, the perpetually hungry Dr. Brownie suggests they all go out for veggie shawarma.

What are your thought’s on Earth’s Mightiest Puppets? Did you like this or Grover’s Game of Thrones parody better? Let us know in the comments!
