See What Netflix Has in Store for June, Including ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK

May is almost at a close, and based on my remedial calendar skills, that means June is just around the corner. The start of summer is finally here (To be honest, ever since Spider-Man came out in 2002, I always considered May to be the new start of summer). This also means that most of our TV shows are on hiatus until the fall. We have a bit of time before we see what shenanigans The Flash will get into next, but until then Netflix is there to pick up the slack. Here is what’s premiering (and leaving) for the month of June.

Original Programming:

Sense8

One moment links 8 minds across the planet. They share their lives, their talents, and their secrets. From the Wachowskis, all episodes premiere June 5th.

Orange is the New Black (Season 3)

The women of Litchfield return for a third season of drama and tears. Seasons 1 & 2 are currently streaming, and all season 3 episodes premiere June 12th.

How to Train Your Dragon: Race to the Edge

Hiccup and Toothless return with a new mission, to explore strange new lands in a quest to finally end the war between Vikings and Dragons. All Episodes premiere June 26th.

What Happened, Miss Simone?

This documentary chronicles the life of legendary singer and activist Nina Simone, using a combination of never-before-heard recordings, archival footage, and her greatest hits. Premieres June 26th.

Original Programming for Kids:

Some Assembly Required

So what say you? What are YOUR picks for June? What are your hopes for July? How does a kid become the owner of a toy company? Did he RT something at the right time? Let me know on Twitter or in the comments below.
