Movie producers and distributors are always trying to give patrons a little something extra when they go see films in 3D, likely so people will be more willing to pony up the extra ticket price. Marvel’s giving you the chance to see something very cool if you see Thor: The Dark World in 3D when it opens November 8th: five whole minutes of the studio’s next cinematic offering, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
It was only last week when the we showed you the 150 second first trailer for the movie, and already you’re going to be able to see an extended look of the superhero espionage thriller coming to theaters in April 2014.
From Fandango’s blog on the news:
âAfter Marvelâs The Avengers, the Marvel films are more interwoven than ever, and this pairing is the perfect complement to both of the new movies,â said Dave Hollis, executive vice president, theatrical distribution, at Walt Disney Studios. âThor: The Dark World is going to be an exceptional theatergoing experience, and this sneak peek will really rev fans up for the return of not only the Mighty Avenger but the First Avenger as well.â
So, if you want to see the blondest Asgardian battle Dark Elves and rock monsters and ALSO want to see a sneak peek of Ol’ Stars-and-Stripes in action, then buy a ticket to see Thor: The Dark World in 3D. You know you want to anyway.
