See the Extended Online TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT Super Bowl Spot in Glorious 4K

This may be Michael Bay‘s final film about the big robots that change into other things (most of the time), but he’s clearly going big before he goes home. And that includes with the big game trailer itself–in addition to the official online release, Bay put up his own 4K version through his personal YouTube account. Ever wanted to see every circuit in Optimus Prime‘s face? Here you go.

We’re thinking Bay learned a thing or two from Dwayne Johnson when they made Pain and Gain, because Optimus is totally giving Bumblebee the “Rock Bottom” finisher. But who is the “maker” Optimus appears to be talking to? Does it have anything to do with the giant severed robo-dragon head we see early on? Or what appear to be planets colliding? And how exactly is Megatron back in a familiar form after becoming Galvatron last movie?

It’s probably best not to worry too much about getting answers to any of those questions, because the real reason everyone who sees this movie will be going is that it’s a 3D Imax spectacle, and if the previous Transformers installment was any indication, Bay has adjusted his editing style so that you can really see all the detail, and don’t have to worry what you’ll miss when you blink.

Who do you think Optimus’ “maker” is? Will he spare Bumblebee’s life when he realizes their makers have the same name? And seriously, what does King Arthur have to do with any of it?

Let’s hear your thoughts below.
