See All the Reys from STAR WARS in This WonderCon 2016 Cosplay Round Up

WonderCon swept into Los Angeles and brought hordes of cosplayers with it. I’m pretty sure horde is what you call more than two cosplayers, right? Right. With C2E2, we documented costumes from all sorts of fandoms. This time around we mostly focused on some of the awesome Star Wars cosplay we saw at WonderCon. I was blown away by the number of Rey costumes I saw while strolling around the exhibit hall. At one point, I saw four different Rey costumes within a ten minute span–I’m not exaggerating. A couple examples of the many Reys of sunshine I spotted:

My favorite part of all the Rey cosplay was seeing women of different ages and backgrounds put on the scavenger’s outfit. She’s clearly inspired so many.

The Force Awakens provided plenty of inspiration, but fans of Star Wars Rebels put their best feet forward, too. Look at this incredible Ahsoka Tano:

I might have clapped when I encountered her.

It wasn’t all about Star Wars though. This group of LEGO minifig costumes featuring Star-Lord, Captain America, and Deadpool made me have squad goals for the first time ever:

Zootopia was a popular source of costumes, too. Nick and Judy were the most common choices but there was at least one Bellwether:
