Cosplay Friday #159 – DOCTOR WHO, Mary Poppins, and More

Hello, convention season! C2E2 has kicked off a string of spring conventions, which we’re happy to celebrate here at Nerdist. Blake put together a gallery of creative and fantastic costumes from C2E2—there was even a Ducky from The Land Before Time! WonderCon begins today, and I don’t know if I’ll see a Ducky, but a girl can dream. I’ll be snapping pictures of costumes all weekend at the Los Angeles convention. You can follow updates on Instagram and come back on Monday because I’ll have a gallery filled with cosplay from the event.

That housekeeping out of the way, let’s skate on into Cosplay Friday. We’ll kick things off with this Fourth Doctor ensemble from Doctor Who by Geek Regeneration:

The photo was taken by the talented York In A Box, and if you want to see more Who-inspired costumes, visit his Facebook page to see pics from Gallifrey One. The Doctor Who-themed convention took place in February, and cosplayers dressed as everyone from Captain Jack to Missy were out in force.

See more costumes in the gallery below. You’ll find Ripley from Alien, a perfect Maleficent costume based on the live-action movie, Rey from The Force Awakens, and more.

Have cosplay of your own to share? Good, because I’d love to include it in a future edition of Cosplay Friday! Leave links to your work in the comments, tag or mention me on Instagram, or send pictures to me on Twitter. I save all of them and put them in the queue. And please let me know the name of the photographer so I can include credit.
