Rumored GILMORE GIRLS Revival Story Details Emerge

Don’t you hate it when TV series jump around the seasons, skipping one or the other and leaving us wondering what really went on during, say, summer? Well, fear not, lovers of Stars Hollow! According to reports, the Gilmore Girls limited revival will feature all four calendar seasons, fitting perfectly into the planned four 90-minute episodes.

Although the series always appeared to be stuck in perpetual autumn — try counting all of the pumpkins left out past the Halloween episodes — Stars Hollow did dazzle in the non-autumn seasons, too. Lorelai has a thing about snow, after all, and the snowman building contest was a delightful highlight — right up there with the Easter Egg hunt debacle.

And, on top of the seasonal goodness, this new, supposedly Netflix-bound chunk of the Gilmore saga will be set in the present day! Since the series ended in 2007, eight long years have passed and that’s got us wondering the big questions about the show’s characters (mainly, is Paul Anka alive and well?). The timing has never been better for this reunion as we’re sure Rory has a lot to say about the current political climate. Plus, how infuriated/excited do you think Luke Danes is about the Disney buy-out of Star Wars?

There’s been an eerie no-comment approach from Netflix and Warner Bros representatives since the Gilmore Girls sequel news broke last week, but sources say negotiations for the main cast are going down. And we are DYING for the other recurring cast to come back, too. We know Austin, TX got a Hep Alien reunion, but we want one, too!

Stay tuned for more Gilmore Girls revival news as we learn it, and let us know which seasonal episode you’re looking forward to most in the comments below.
