Rock Out to MORTAL KOMBAT X’s Official Launch Trailer

Even if you didn’t file your tax return and have been dreading that rapidly approaching April 15 deadline, you’re probably still hoping that this week zips by, because Mortal Kombat X finally hits stores the day before. The official launch trailer for the game, which features the timeless and widely popular System of a Down tune “Chop Suey”, shows off a majority of the cast of characters included in the game’s story mode. You can watch the video–and attempt to accomplish this without head-banging yourself into a dizzy coma–at the top of this very page.

It looks like several copies of the game have managed to negate the street date, since folks were uploading gameplay and story mode cutscenes for the entire game over the past weekend. How insidious, discourteous, and vile of those view-hungry youtube uploaders! Remember, though: it is on us to not fall into the spoiler-trap by clicking the play button on any of said videos.

Are you as excited as I am (I’m getting ready to flip a table) about next week’s release of Mortal Kombat X? Have you decided what character you’re going to try out first? Test your might and leave your thoughts in the comments below.
