If Rick Astley’s face is appearing to you in a bread roll, you’re not hallucinating. These warm and soulfully delicious sweet bread rolls are actually painted with the edible face of a Stock Aitken and Waterman angel.

Rick Astley Rick Rolls

ingredients:
– King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
– black food gel dye

Print and cut out a 2”x2” silhouette image of Rick Astley’s face to fit over the bread roll.

In a small bowl dilute the black food gel dye with a touch of water. Using a clean kitchen paintbrush, paint over the template on top of the roll.

Remove the template and let air dry. Once the food paint is dry, the rolls are ready to serve.
