Fan-Made LEGO RICK AND MORTY Short Makes Us Want More

We here at Nerdist are often blown away by the awesome things fans do to let their nerd flags fly. General fandom is one thing, but being inspired to create something in honor of that thing you love is some next level stuff! And it’s particularly great when two fandoms collide like this fan-made LEGO Rick and Morty intro.

This video was a collaboration by two Redditors (austron and mnartgirl) who combined their talents to bring the world of Rick and Morty to the world of LEGO style animation. In the short clip, we see a few familiar locations including the Smith residence, the Citadel of Ricks, and some space occupied by quite a few Cromulons.

Even though the video is just under a minute long, it has us wanting to seeing something like this for real in an future episode of the show. An entire dimension being made of LEGO is exactly the sort of thing that’s perfect for the world of Rick and Morty, and I’m surprised the show hasn’t done something similar yet. They had time to do a cob universe after all.

Though, with a brand like LEGO, an officially licensed episode or any sort of toys probably aren’t in the realm of possibilities considering how the Adult Swim show is definitely not for children. Still, it’s nice to dream of a world where LEGO Rick and Morty have to battle against their Mega Bloks counterparts.

What are your favorite fan-made Rick and Morty things out there in the multiverse? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
