Can you believe it? We are already a mere 301 days away from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. And while we’re still eagerly awaiting the first trailer from Episode VIII, we’ve finally gotten a glimpse at how Rey, Finn, and Poe are gonna look in the film. Today’s Nerdist News is practically a Star Wars fashion show as we tell you what Rey’s new costume means …along with a potential promotion for Finn!

Join host and fashion rebel, Jessica Chobot, as she goes over the details that were revealed in Lucasfilm’s Force Friday II announcement. Ordinarily, we wouldn’t be excited about an empty box, but that look at the core trio could hold a few clues. Note that Rey is still using Luke’s old lightsaber even while she’s letting her hair down and adding some black to her outfit. We can pretty safely assume that this means Luke didn’t take the lightsaber back from Rey (or did he only to give it back?), but we are wondering when she’s gonna build her own. After all, it’s a Jedi tradition! And now that everyone knows Rey is strong with the Force, the packaging isn’t bothering to hide that anymore.

But what about Rey’s friends and allies? Is Poe is gonna keep on Poe-ing? Has Finn borrowed a shirt from Han Solo’s closet? Moreover, Making Star Wars has a very interesting rumor about Finn accepting an undercover promotion…and a slap on the ass?!
