Thanks to YouTuber and Star Wars parody lover VidGeo, we now get to see what the infamous Anakin/Obi-Wan battle from Revenge of the Sith would have looked like if it happened on Endor, rather than on Mustafar.

Oh…and with Chipmunks. Pack it in, internet. We can pretty much call it a day.

Of course, this isn’t our first foray into the world of lightsaber-rodent fusion videos (dramatic Jedi-munk, anyone?), but it’s clearly the best one yet. 

Chipmunks might be small but they’d be pretty well-equipped for life on the forest moon. Not only have the nimble four ounces of terror been known to fend off enemies more than 10-times their size (like hawks, coyotes, and foxes), but their high pitched battle cries can be heard through miles of pine.

They’re also psychotically fast learners: baby chipmunks go from Padawan to Jedi Master in just 8 short weeks, setting off to defend their own territories soon after. The moral of the story is clear: Never underestimate the power of your squirrel enemies. They hate that. And, well, we all know what hate leads to.

It might be a once-off, but we’re hoping the VG team keeps this one going. What would happen in the next installment of Chipmunk Wars? Who knows, but we’re hoping to see Hayden Christiansen’s ridiculous “What have I done?” scene get the Chip-and-Dale treatment for part deux.
