Rancid Releasing 20th Anniversary Reissue of …AND OUT COME THE WOLVES

Punk (of the non-CM persuasion) fans unite and then subsequently feel older than you ever have before. Twenty years ago, Rancid released one of the best punk albums in existence. Making a statement like that is normally divisive but I doubt even the trolliest of internet trolls would dare say a bad word about …And Out Come the Wolves.

To celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary, the band is releasing the limited edition deluxe EP reissue on November 27 via Epitaph, and you can pre-order it on iTunes. The digital version will include 2 bonus tracks “Blast ‘Em” and “That’s Entertainment”. Also available is a 180-gram vinyl that is just plain beautiful.

The seminal album won over fans and critics alike and absolutely holds its own on any playlist in 2015. This staying power, in my opinion at least, has to do with being one of those albums that’s so good you can’t even pick your top 3 tracks. From beginning to end, this album has and will always deliver a taste of punk rock that is simultaneously timeless and a time machine bringing listeners back to an era of exuberant discovery.

Ultimately, I don’t think there’s anything better to get you excited about this re-issue than the first track of the album. Let’s take a listen.

How excited are you for this reissue? Let us know in the comments below!
