Rad RICK AND MORTY ‘Wubba Lubba Dub Dub’ Season 1 Remix

It doesn’t take a genius to see why Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty is so intergalactically acclaimed.

An alcoholic, misanthropic scientific genius who takes pleasure in kidnapping his darling, wide-eyed young grandson and taking him on treacherous adventures into otherworldly dimensions? An animated show for adults that is not only intelligent, character-driven, and full of wit, but achingly heartfelt and honest? Yes. Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, I’ll have some more of that, please.

If you are not watching Rick and Morty yet (no judgement, we’re all friends here), then you won’t know what ‘Wubba Lubba Dub Dub’ means, and I’m not going to let the cat out of the bag. But let’s just say, it’s one of Rick’s peculiar ‘catchphrases.’ And if you do fall into the category of non-watchers, I urge you to still check out this Season One remix video. As well as being genuinely hysterical, it will give you a taste of the colorful and twisted sense of adventure that the show offers.

And, let’s just be real. After hearing this line from Rick, “Fifteen for the resonator, and my grandson wants the sex robot,” and then seeing Morty’s face drop — how could you not just run out and binge watch every episode so far, right this second?

For fans of other animated treats such as South Park and Futurama, and of course the live-action film favorite, Back to the Future, I recommend giving Rick and Morty a go. There’s a good chance it’ll be the show you keep up with the most. For seasoned Rick and Morty followers… I salute you!

Lastly, now I know this is going to be tough. But if you’re armed with enough familiarity with the show, will you tell us who your favorite weird side character is?
