PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIE Cast Talk Lannisters and Kicking Arse in Corsets

Have you ever wondered what the world of Jane Austen would look like were all that wistful pondering replaced by kicking zombie ass? Well then you’ve probably read Seth Grahame-Smith’s parody novel of the Austen classic, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. And that also means you’re also at least a teensy bit curious about its big screen adaptation, slated to hit us all over the head with katanas and corsets on February 5th, 2016. And we, like you, share in that anticipation!

Which is why we were thrilled to welcome some of the cast to our Comic-Con Conival stage — including Bella Heathcote, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, and this real up-and-comer type that you probably haven’t heard of named Matt Smith — to chat about what it takes to bring a zombie apocalypse to the Regency era and how that changes the romantic prospects for a girl like Elizabeth Bennet. Plus we also got them to dish about those sneaky Lannisters — Lena Headey and Charles Dance (a.k.a. Cersei and Tywin, respectively) — which is always a good time, ain’t it?

Did you catch any of the film footage that was released at Comic-Con? Tell us all about it in the comments!
