Preview: Freddy and Jason Get a New Look in LADY KILLERS

Halloween may still be more than a week away, but we’re celebrating Nerdoween all month long here at Nerdist, and our latest celebration premieres tomorrow on a brand new episode of Nerdist Presents. Inspired by the bishoujo versions of Freddy Krueger and Jason from Kotobukiya, filmmaker Andrew Bowser, with some help from our friends at Scream Factory, set out to bring these reimagined horror icons to life in a brand new context. The result is Lady Killers, tomorrow’s supremely spooky Nerdist Presents, which spins a spine-chilling yarn of what happens when you fall asleep on the job. Starring Adrianne Curry, Abby Dark-Star, Leanna Vamp, Matt Bennett, and Jason Ritter, the short film will keep you on the edge of your seat and possibly up all night.

Though the thrills and chills begin in earnest tomorrow, you can take a sneak peek at what’s lurking around the corner in this new Instagram teaser and an exclusive gallery of set photos culled especially for you.

You can catch Lady Killers right here on Nerdist.com tomorrow at 9AM PT. In the meantime, let us know what horror movie character you’d most like to see get the genderbent treatment in the comments below.

Nerdist, you’re making me wanna fuck my childhood hero and fears. Very confusing. My future shrink bills are gonna be addressed to you.
