Possible UNCHARTED 4 Cover Art Revealed By Amazon

This week is just full of surprises! Yes, I know, nothing is going to top the jaw-dropping reveal of Fallout 4. Hopefully, however, this next post will take your mind off the fact that you’re probably going to have to wait a very, very long time before you’re able to get your hands on it. Or, it will just remind you of the crushing news that Uncharted 4 is delayed until 2016. Anyways, amidst all the excitement today, several people noticed that Amazon updated its store page for Naughty Dog’s upcoming title Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End with the below image.

Uncharted 4 Amazon Cover 06032015

Look at Nathan Drake standing there all moody and contemplative with a hand gun in his right hand. As per ususal, our fit explorer appears to be injured. That sort of thing tends to happen when you spend your days escaping trains, boats, planes, and other vehicles that are in the midst of crashing, getting in bare-knuckled bar brawls, and kicking ass in general.

Looking back at past covers, if this is indeed the cover of Uncharted 4, it is definitely the most boring of the bunch. Usually full of determination, Nate looks like he’s just about had it with this adventurous life. You can almost here him gasping with exhaustion, not only because he’s older, but also because he’s probably wondering why he came out of retirement for this. We’ve also already seen the pic in promotional material, so maybe this is just a placeholder for the time being. Who knows!

In case you didn’t already know, the fourth entry in the series–which is slated for a 2016 release–finds an older Drake, three years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, on an island in search of his long lost brother Sam. Naughty Dog states that it is “his greatest adventure yet and will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.” Ooh.

Whether this is real or not, it reminds us that E3 is coming, and this writer in particular is geared up and ready for all the announcements, surprises and joy that comes along with it.

So what do you think of what may or may not be the cover? Are you excited for the game? Let us know in the comments below.
