POKÉMON Meets THE SIMPSONS in These Awesome Enamel Pins

POKÉMON Meets THE SIMPSONS in These Awesome Enamel Pins

Between the recent 600th episode of the Simpsons and the upcoming release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, it is a great time to be a fan of either property. If you are a fan of BOTH and can’t decide which you like better, ThumbsDesign has made it so you don’t have to make that most dreaded of choices. They’ve created something that will satisfy both your fan cravings.

millhouse

ThumbDesign’s Etsy store is now selling a series of enamel pins that mashup your favorite Springfield residents with your favorite Pokémon. Here’s Millhouse combined with Tangela.

Hugo

This is my personal favorite, as it takes a character from the best kind of Simpsons episode: the Treehouse of Horror. Here’s Bart’s secret Siamese twin brother Hugo combined with Raichu. This is one pin would NOT want to hide in the attic.

The great thing about this idea is the huge possibilities. You can take the most obscure Simpsons character and combine them with the most obscure Pokémon and make a great work of art. ThumbDesigns has succeeded with doing just that. You can check out more of ThumbDesign’s pins in the gallery below. You can also check out their Etsy store, which also includes trading cards and stickers, as well as SpongeBob/Simpsons mashup pins here.

So what do you think? Are you excited to add these pins to your always growing collection? Which Simpsons character is matched perfectly with their Pokémon? Let me know on Twitter or sound off in the comments below.
