Pink Ranger Returns in MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS: PINK # 1 (Preview)

Earlier this year, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers made a comic book comeback thanks to Boom! Studios. And now it’s time for the return of the original Pink Ranger in her own solo miniseries!

While the ongoing Power Rangers comic takes place shortly after the Green Ranger joined the group, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink advances the timeline to a previously unexplored period after Kimberly Hart, the original Pink Ranger left the team.

Batgirl and Gotham Academy writer Brenden Fletcher is teaming up with A-Force and Jem and the Holograms scribe Kelly Thompson for a story that catches up with Kimberly after she thought her hero days were over. But as the saying goes, “once a Ranger, always a Ranger!” And Kimberly is going to have to reclaim her alter ego to overcome a new threat.

Boom! Studios has released a few of artist Daniele Di Nicuolo’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink # 1 pages, with colors by Sarah Stern, and letters by industry veteran Ed Dukeshire. In this preview, Kimberly is looking a little bit like the T-Mobile girl as she realizes that her mother and stepfather may be in danger. In fact, the problem may be even larger than Kimberly initially thought.
