Nom Nom Nom: Kotobukiya Reveals STAR WARS Sandwich Pouches

Kotobukiya, the purveyors of the Star Wars home goods you never knew you needed, are at it again. Before they came along we had to eat noodles with wooden chopsticks instead of lightsabers… the horror! Our drinks were chilled with square-shaped ice cubes instead of Millennium Falcons… why bother? Thank goodness today Kotobukiya revealed how they are going to enhance our lunching experience next, with the introduction of their new line of Star Wars sandwich pouch makers.

Featuring the iconic shapes of Darth Vader, a Stormtrooper helmet, and R2-D2, images are stamped into the bread, then pressed again to form a sealed sandwich pocket. The kit also includes a stencil to help take your sandwich to the next level. These makers were first introduced to the public along with other new products at NYCC 2014, which means the C-3PO egg mold isn’t far behind.

The Star Wars sandwich pouch makers will be available in May, just in time for Star Wars Day!
