Funko’s TWIN PEAKS Toys Include Pop! Vinyls and Action Figures For Your Red Room

Funko’s TWIN PEAKS Toys Include Pop! Vinyls and Action Figures For Your Red Room

Talk about that gum you like coming back in style: who would have ever thought Twin Peaks would get Pop! Vinyls AND actual action figures?

Well thankfully, Funko pays attention, and it seems like the moment anyone gets press for making customs, Funko pursues the actual license. It happened with Stranger Things, and now with Twin Peaks, with the company even making the exact four that were customized, plus more—and you can see them in our gallery below!

But 3-3/4 inch figures? That was most unexpected. We can argue about their character selection—I would have put Michael J. Anderson in the first assortment for sure—but it probably had to do with how quickly Funko could get likeness rights, which are not required for the more stylized Pops.

Now, the big question: can Funko, please, please do a display diorama piece like their Wall set for Game of Thrones? I mean, these are all compatible figures, so yeah, we can pose Dale Cooper next to Tyrion as they share beverages of choice in the North, but a red room display set would be nice. Maybe throw in an action lever that could make Anderson dance—they have to make a figure of him eventually, right? We’ll be over here wallowing in garmonbozia till then.

Fun trivia note: This is actually the third Kyle MacLachlan character to be immortalized as an action figure, after Paul Atreides from Dune and Cliff Vandercave from The Flintstones live-action movie. The other initial figures revealed are Killer Bob, Log Lady, and dead Laura Palmer (arguably the creepiest Funko retro figure since Pulp Fiction‘s The Gimp). The Pop line includes all those plus Audrey Horne and Leland Palmer.

Here’s hoping for a long life at retail, so we get the whole classic cast. I for one am planning to let Agent Cooper drive the Rogue One AT-ACT. Do you plan on letting these quirky characters in to your collection? Leave us a damn fine comment below and tell us your plans, and check out all the toys revealed so far in our gallery below.
