New INJUSTICE 2 Trailer Reveals Harley Quinn and Deadshot

Next year, the highly anticipated sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us is hitting consoles, and it just wouldn’t be a party without Harley Quinn! A new trailer for Injustice 2 has revealed that Harley is back, and she’s not alone. Harley’s Suicide Squad teammate, Deadshot is also joining the action.

The new footage shows Harley and Deadshot beating up most of the currently announced roster for Injustice 2, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Atrocitus, and Gorilla Grodd. The highlights include Harley unleashing her “babies” on Atrocitus and the most one-sided offense that Deadshot has ever had against Batman.

There’s no sign yet that the Joker is also in Injustice 2, but we’d be surprised if he didn’t make an appearance. However, that would probably also include the reveal that the alternate heroes from the other Earth will return. Harley had a pretty big role in the first Injustice as an ally of Batman and the resistance to the Superman’s authoritarian rule. Deadshot wasn’t in the first game at all, but it’s likely that he either found himself working with the evil Superman or forced to stay out of his way. Most of the story details for the sequel are still under wraps, but we do know that this Superman has been freed from his prison and that there are forces who are trying to restore his reign.

Injustice 2 will be released on Playstation 4 and Xbox One in early 2017.
