New ANT-MAN Spanish-Language TV Spot Teases Avenger Cameo (SPOILERS!!!!!)

***WARNING: SPOILERS FOR ANT-MAN ARE BELOW. CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!***

Ever since 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has done a fantastic job of ensuring that every single one of its films has some sort of tie-in to a bigger world than what each movie contains. From Nick Fury’s appearance in Iron Man, to Thanos putting on the Infinity Gauntlet at end of Age of Ultron, seven years of puzzle pieces are finally starting to come together.

Ant-Man is yet another piece to that puzzle. In the following TV spot below, you can catch a glimpse of how it may fit in.

For those of you that decided to stick around, your eyes did NOT deceive you. That was Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/The Falcon towards the end of the video. Now, we only got to see him for a split second, but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t speculate for HOURS as to what his role is in the film. Does he just glide by, say “Hmph, that’s weird” and leaves? Or is he on a recruiting mission for Captain America? We know that Paul Rudd IS in Captain America: Civil War, so I am leaning towards the latter. Although, if all he does is stop in an then disappear, that would be HILARIOUS.

Ant-Man, starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, and Michael Douglas, opens in theaters July 17.

So what do you think? Was Falcon just doing a “fly-by,” or is he the link to Captain America: Civil War? Are you upset that you were spoiled, even though you were given more than enough warning? Let me know on Twitter or in the comments below.
