    Yeah, exactly. If it’s something natural–or as funny as Dan Harmon does it–then it’s fine. When it derails the plot for 5 minutes, nobody likes it–even if you’re selling a product everyone likes and wants.

    I really enjoyed Dan’s being all “Do what you want! What are they gonna do, fire you and then bring you back?!”

    I really enjoyed the discussion of the product placement. I do not mind when the products are in the episode,but when the character says something that NO PERSON would ever say, it really turns me off. The 30 Rock Snample episode and the KFC sponsored episode of Community worked for me. A show I love that is KILLING me with the products is Bones.
