It’s the end of the line for Rick, Carl, Darryl, Michonne, and the gang. Literally. At the end of The Walking Dead Season 4, our heroes escaped the Governor’s assault on the prison, then walked all the way to Terminus only to find that it was chock full of weird cannibals. Since things have a tendency to go from bad to worse on The Walking Dead, the Terminus Welcoming Committee proceeded to guide Grimes and the gang via hails of poorly aimed bullets into a railyard, where they were then corralled into a boxcar where they awaited their fate. Yet, from the darkness of the trailer, Maggie, Abraham, and their long-lost friends emerged and for a brief moment, there was a glimmer of hope. Then the badass music kicked in and everyone turned to Rick, looking for words of wisdom, and what did he have to say?
Yeah, exactly. It’s a pretty far cry from the original.
So, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We dug through AMC’s archives and uncovered an alternate ending to season 4 that we think will answer a lot of questions and address a lot of the problems that Walking Dead fans had with the finale’s final moments.
