â«Â So no one told you life was gonna be this way…Â â«
It’s been a full month since Netflix released all ten seasons of Friends, which means we’ve had plenty of time to rewatch the series from start to finish. And though we’ve had a blast reliving Ross’ failed marriages, the uber-90s fashion, and Joey’s passionate love affair with pizza, we can’t help but wonder, what would the show be like if it were set in 2015? Classic episodes like “The One With The Blackout” and “The One Where Ross Finds Out” would be moo(t)… everyone would have cell phones!
And so it came to pass that we took it upon ourselves to reboot Friends. Yes, really. Created by Nerdist’s own Ben Mekler and Andrew Bowser, and featuring a sweet remix by Freddy Scott of The Remembrandts’ indelible tune, the show takes the classic sitcom and puts a fresh, millennial spin on it. And luckily for all you Friends fans out there, we’ve got a sneak peek of the opening credits. Could we BE any more excited?
Without further ado, Nerdist Presents… Friends: Rebooted.Â

Funny story from behind the scenes. The real audience was too busy texting so the laughs were added in afterwards for effect.
