Nerdist Goes to Riot Fest Toronto: A Playlist of What We’re Looking Forward to

Riot Fest already held its Chicago and Denver editions this year, and the line-ups were killer: between both festival sites, attendees took in performances by Modest Mouse, Tenacious D, Snoop Dogg, System of a Down, Explosions in the Sky, Death Grips, No Doubt, Iggy Pop, Faith No More, Post Malone, Speedy Ortiz, Billy Idol, Ice Cube… an embarrassment of riches, basically.

The good news is that its Riot Fest Toronto is this weekend (September , there are plenty of great acts who will be there, and Nerdist is making the trip north of the border. We’ll be bringing you exclusive reviews, photos, and interviews with some of our favorites there is plenty to anticipate, like the personification of party that is Andrew WK, hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan, and Weezer performing the entirety of their classic albums Pinkerton and Weezer (The Blue Album) during two separate sets.

To prepare our bodies for the weekend, we’ve made a Spotify playlist of the aforementioned artists and others we are looking forward to checking out on Saturday and Sunday, so give it a spin below and let us know in the comments what you think of the Riot Fest Toronto line-up, which can be found in full here.

And if you happen to see us in Toronto, come over and say hi: we’ll be the ones overwhelmed by the immensity of what’s going on around us.
