Heath Corson (Bizarro) and Adam Beechen (Transformers: Robots in Disguise) chat with Jeff Kline, animation executive producer/writer extraordinaire (as well as Adam’s boss) on his most recent projects: Transformers: Robots in Disguise and publishing of the Darby Pop comic line. Jeff chats about working with famed producer Frank Lupo, the business of publishing indie comics, how to make big brand franchises work and his 15+ years in animation. There is very little correlation from the tv audience to the comic audience for Walking Dead.  Walking Dead was and is doing Very well without the tv show bump.
Transformers Robots in Disguise is a charming show and I interested in seeing where it goes.  Good group of characters but I am little weary of the monster of the week trope.  There are hundreds of deceptiocn fugitives in the small woodland area- Hundreds? But they all come out one at a time- even for a show aimed at a younger audience that’s  a bit weak. But not as week as those guns that is the wimpiest peww peww sound and look any gun ever.  Not one character even seems to feel any of those shots or react to it.Minor nit pick there- but why?
