    The reason DC and Marvel still publish comics is b/c they are IP generators.
    It’s the same reason Acura- Toyota invest in Indie car racing.
    They don’t do it for prize money, they do it as a test track. For publishers it’s a test track of ideas that turn into movies and toys and cartoons that make crap loads of money.
    But it starts with the monthly churn of comic books.
