After four unsuccessful attempts, Elon Musk’s SpaceX finally landed a Falcon 9 booster on an autonomous drone earlier this week. That may not sound very impressive, but it could be the first step towards a reusable rocket that is capable of escaping the Earth’s atmosphere, which is—in a word—huge. Almost anyone else in the world would be satisfied with such an achievement and call it a week. But not Elon Musk, as you’ll see in today’s MuskWatch!

Dan and Kyle are convinced that Musk just wants the Red Planet to provide larger caves for his bats, but we think he’s eyeing a supervillain base upgrade from the ol’ volcano hideout. Also discussed, Musk’s previously established fear of Skynet and rogue artificial intelligence, and how it hasn’t stopped him from launching OpenAI.
