I knew right away I was going to like this Swedish synth-pop trio: 1. Their name is a third declension Latin noun that reminds me that I was once a total whiz at a dead language in high school (Semper ubi sub ubi!); 2. Their single artwork is an instagrammed picture of clouds, and that makes me feel fucking comfy; and 3. As soon as the bass line lead to that ebullient explosion of synths, I was no longer sedentary.

“Swept” is currently the only offering from Mons Montis, but if it is any indication of how they will continue to make me feel on the inside, then I am all for everything they are doing. Who all ready for some synthy euro-pop, say yeah!
