Remember a few weeks back when I wrote about Ryan Hemsworth’s Cool DJ Mix and promised to post more about the internet-savvy producer in the near future? Well, my word is my bond, and today Australian producer Wave Racer, who recently worked with Hemsworth on the track “Streamers,” released the second remix from their collaborative Destroyed EP.

Wave Racer’s ebullient rework of Hemworth’s spooky, sullen “Ryan Must Be Destroyed” from last year’s Guilt Trips jump ropes blissfully in the opposite direction of its source material. I can imagine iridescent bubbles popping the entire time this track is on, and the Yoshi pounce sample leads to a flood of Nintendo 64/Super Smash Bros. nostalgia. This track is such a keeper.
