The initial forecast for star Dylan O’Brien’s recovery following injuries he suffered on the set of Maze Runner: The Death Cure was six weeks. But it appears O’Brien is taking a little longer to heal. Fox has cancelled the film’s February 17, 2017 release, and has not yet announced a new opening date. “The resumption of principal photography on Maze Runner: The Death Cure has been further delayed to allow Dylan OâBrien more time to fully recover from his injuries,” says the studio. “We wish Dylan a speedy recovery and look forward to restarting production as soon as possible.”

Finally today… We have word that the extended version of Ridley Scott’s The Martian, featured on the film’s Blu-ray release, will be a full 10 minutes longer than its theatrical cut. The usual extras also make it an enticing buy for fans of the Oscar-nominated science-fiction drama. Included are audio commentary by Scott, writer-producer Drew Goddard, and author Andy Weir, as well as deleted scenes, the documentary featurettes The Long Way Home: Making the Martian and Dare Mighty Things: NASAâs Journey to Mars, and a Journey to Mars 101 Q&A. The Martian hits home video on June 7.
