Movie Morsels: New Motion Poster for Pixar’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR

And so endeth another fine week here at Movie Morsels. But before you head out to the theaters to see Black Mass this weekend, we’ve got one last round of goodness for you, starting with a most magical new motion poster promoting Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur. Plus, new trailers for Vin Diesel‘s The Last Witch Hunter and the Point Break remake, along with a featurette on The Peanuts Movie and the latest casting news on Ouija 2!

The Good Dinosaur

Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur is looking more and more like The Great Dinosaur, especially with a magical new motion poster featuring its two stars, young Apatosaurus Arlo and his human caveboy Spot. Here’s a peek…

The Good Dinosaur 2

You can check out the complete motion poster on Facebook. Directed by Peter Sohn and featuring the voices of Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, Jeffrey Wright, Frances McDormand, Marcus Scribner, Sam Elliott, Anna Paquin, A.J. Buckley, and Steve Zahn, The Good Dinosaur will be released on November 25, 2015.

The Martian

In the newest clip from Ridley Scott’s The Martian, astronaut Matt Damon explains why he’s quite capable of surviving alone on Mars. (Ah, but can he produce a controversy-free season of Project Greenlight?) It’s our latest look at the much acclaimed October 2nd sci-fi release, co-starring Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Peña, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Donald Glover.

The Last Witch Hunter

I’m thinking Vin Diesel’s The Last Witch Hunter has gotta turn out to be a glorious trainwreck or just glorious, period. Because its been some time since Vin Diesel signed on for a half-ass project; and after Guardians of the Galaxy and Furious 7 the man can do no wrong. Here’s the film’s latest trailer…

Also starring Rose Leslie, Elijah Wood, Michael Caine, Rena Owen, Julie Engelbrecht, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Isaach De Bankolé, Lotte Verbeek, and Kurt Angle, director Breck Eisner’s The Last Witch Hunter works its magic on October 23rd.

Point Break

What’s that? You want another trailer before you start your weekend?! Oookay… Here’s the latest one for the Point Break remake, starring Édgar Ramírez as Bodhi and Luke Bracey as Johnny Utah, as well as Ray Winstone, Teresa Palmer, and Delroy Lindo, and directed by Ericson Core in an extreme-sports take on the original, landing on December 25th.

The Peanuts Movie

How faithful will The Peanuts Movie be to Charles Schulz’s original comic-strip masterpiece? Very faithful, if this new featurette is to be believed (and why would promotional material lie, right?)…

Directed by Steve Martino, the first feature-length film based on Peanuts in thirty-five years arrives on November 6th.

Ouija 2

Mad Men

Don Draper’s dream girl/waitress in Mad Men‘s seventh and final season, actress Elizabeth Reaser, looks to be joining Annalise Basso in the sequel to last year’s hit Ouija. The film is due out Halloween 2016. Ouija 2 will be directed by Oculus helmer Mike Flanagan, and will be produced by Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes and Jason Blum’s Blumhouse.
