Captain America: Civil War

The Winter Soldier splash

If you liked the approach that directors Joe and Anthony Russo took to the action scenes in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, you’ll be happy to hear that those in Captain America: Civil War should be even more intense. Actor Sebastian Stan—a.k.a. Bucky Barnes—has remarked that the film will have, “Some brutal fighting; some serious, serious fighting like you haven’t really seen before in any of the other films, which I’m really proud to say. And a whole lot of character and heart, because there’s a lot of people that are in the film, but you’re going to get a lot of character from everybody.”

As for whether or not Stan would like to inherit Cap’s title and shield should Chris Evans retire from the role, he comments, “No, I really wouldn’t, let me tell you, I think about that every day. [Laughs.] It’s so not up to me, and to be honest, I really enjoy my job over there. I’m really happy going to work and doing what I do. I love the character that I have. It’s up to a lot of different things, and whatever Marvel decides, I’m game.”

Does Michael B. Jordan have the eye of the tiger? That’s the question posed in the latest trailer for Creed, the Rocky franchise spin-off film which sees Sylvester Stallone yet again reprising his role as the Italian Stallion. This time around Rocky’s training the son of his late friend (and one-time opponent), Apollo Creed. Co-starring Tessa Thompson, Tony Bellew, and Graham McTavish, and directed by Ryan Coogler, Creed opens on November 25th.
