Great googly moogly, you guys! It’s only Thursday and we’re already neck deep in awesome movie news. In today’s Movie Morsels, we’re diving into some juicy Captain America 3 casting news, ogling the stars of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 who are back in black, wondering why Martin Scorsese said “Gabba Gabba Okay” to a Ramones biopic, counting down the Dowdle Bros.’ top 10 horror films for As Above/ So Below, and much more.
Captain America 3
Guess who’s back? No, not Jeremy Renner — okay, well he might be, but in a new interview Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors Anthony and Joe Russo revealed that Bucky Barnes will be back in Captain America 3.
“Thinking about where that relationship can go is a piece of the puzzle for us for sure. That character is a wonderfully, beautifully tragic figure in the sense of is he the world’s most feared assassin or is he the world’s longest serving POW. Is he innocent by reason of insanity or the equivalent of it because he’s been mind controlled or is he irredeemable? Is he ever going to be acceptable to Cap again as the friend that he used to be before he was the Winter Soldier? These are very philosophical, emotional questions that pique our interest and definitely form one layer of the next movie.”
Hey, guys, more Winter Soldier is a-okay in our book! [Movies.com]

J.J. Abrams’ Superman: Flyby
While Tim Burton’s scrapped Superman Lives may be the weirdest Superman film that never came to fruition, it isn’t the only one. J.J. Abrams penned a script for a Superman film, dubbed Superman: Flyby, and YouTube’s Mr. Sunday Movies has put  together a look at what might have been. If you want to know even more, read Drew McWeeny’s review of the script from back in 2002. Maybe after Jon Schnepp wraps The Death of “Superman Lives”: What Happened?, he can make a follow up about Flyby.  [io9]
Martin Scorsese’s The Ramones biopic
At the tenth annual Johnny Ramones tribute at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Jeff Jampol, co-manager of the band’s estate, revealed that Martin Scorsese would likely be directing a film about the Ramones in honor of the band’s 40th anniversary in 2016. [Billboard]

Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur finds a Charming lead
First, he’s the motorcycle king of Charming, California, and now he’ll be the one, true king of Britain. Here’s hoping that Ron Perlman will be playing a hard-drinking Merlin. [Deadline]
Underworld
After four films featuring Kate Beckinsale in skintight leather doing righteous battle with vampires and werewolves, it looks like Screen Gems is rebooting the Underworld series. Tentatively titled Underworld: Next Generation and produced by Len Weisman, the film is rumored to focus on Eve, the part-vampire, part-werewolf daughter of Selene (Kate Beckinsale) and Michael (Scott Speedman). aahhmmm… if the Underworld saga is going to be about Eve instead of Selene, I wouldn’t call it a reboot…
