Shields up! Our favorite super soldier returns to theaters this weekend in Captain America: Civil War, and we’ve got word on a great way to catch up on all of his cinematic exploits in today’s Movie Morsels. Plus, new featurettes and footage from X-Men: Apocalypse, Finding Dory, Warcraft, and more!
Captain America: Civil War
I’m still dumbfounded that people are telling me Captain America: Civil War is arguably the best Captain America movie yet. Not because I doubted the talents of directors Joe and Anthony Russo or screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, but because, as close as we’ve come over the years, we’ve never had a wholly successful superhero film trilogy, one composed of three totally worthwhile movies. Well, now we can re-experience all of the good Captain’s screen adventures before seeing his latest epic by going to select theaters this Thursday, May 5, for Marvel’s Ultimate Captain America Marathon.
The marathon includes screenings of Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Captain America: Civil War. Attendees get an exclusive medallion (!) and a limited edition copy of the first issue of the Marvel: Avengers Alliance comic book. Tickets can be pre-ordered here.
X-Men: Apocalypse
Yet another X-Men: Apocalypse featurette has landed onlineâthis one detailing the history of the X-Men’s latest and greatest screen foe, and an explanation of just why he wants to destroy humanity. Enjoy, my fellow mutant lovers!
Director Bryan Singer’s fourth X-Men film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac (as the titular Big Bad), Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, and Lucas Till.
Warcraft
You want more videos? Okay, we’ve got more videos! Here are two new vids from director Duncan Jones’ Warcraft adaptation, introducing two of the film’s protagonists: the rebel Orc chieftain and Horde leader Durotan (played by Toby Kebbell) and the knight, warrior, and Alliance leader Sir Anduin Lothar (played by Travis Fimmel)…
Finding Dory
The latest TV spot for Pixar’s Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory features new footage from the underwater animated film that gives us our first good look at Bailey the Beluga Whale (voiced by Modern Family‘s Ty Burrell)…

Bad Moms
Finally today… We have both red and green-band trailers for the ultra-raunchy comedy Bad Moms. Starring Christina Applegate, Mila Kunis, and Kathryn Hahn as three women who’ve just had enough of that whole nurturing, loving parent thing and decide to let their freak flags fly high and wide. Directed and written by The Hangover scribes Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the film co-stars Kristen Bell and Jada Pinkett Smith and hits theaters on July 29.
