Movie Morsels: First Photo of Angel in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

An eclectic assortment of goodies awaits you in today’s Movie Morsels! We’ve got confirmation on Martin Scorsese’s next project with Leonardo DiCaprio, The Devil in the White City, the latest pic from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse, a Jem and the Holograms featurette, a clip from Final Girl, a casting update on the Baywatch movie, and more!

X-Men: Apocalypse

Our cup runneth over! Yet another X-Men: Apocalypse photo has arrived, courtesy of Bryan Singer. You’ll recall that Singer’s last such photo teased the possibility of alien life being introduced to the X-Men Cinematic Universe. Now we’ve got a flash of Ben Hardy’s high-flying Angel in some sort of 1982 East Berlin “fight club.” Hmmm… X-Men: Apocalypse also stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Olivia Munn, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Josh Helman, and Lana Condor. It opens everywhere May 27, 2016.

Devil in the White City

Get ready to have yourself another Marty Party! Mr. Scorsese’s next film, an adaptation of Erik Larson’s bestseller, is officially moving forward with frequent collaborator Leonardo DiCaprio. The story focuses on two very different “architects” — Daniel H. Burnham, responsible for the design of the 1893 World’s Fair, and Dr. H. H. Holmes, the serial killer who murdered his victims in his infamous “Murder Castle”.
