Miracle of Sound Releases An UNCHARTED 4 Inspired Song

Earlier this month, the long-awaited Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End brought the adventures of Nathan Drake and his friends to a conclusion. And while Naughty Dog‘s gaming saga may be over, it’s a story that we’ll happily revisit in the future!

As a tribute to Uncharted 4, Gavin Dunne a.k.a. Miracle of Sound has released a new song called “Here We Go Again,” along with a video that explores the relationship between Nathan and his brother, Sam; which spanned several years over the course of the game.

When asked about his inspiration for this song, Dunne told us that it was “mainly the sense of adventure. All [of] the Uncharted games have enjoyable narratives. The idea of never settling down and always being a drifter at heart was what inspired the song.”

Dunne also noted that he was satisfied by the ending of Uncharted 4 and not eager to see any future games take away from that conclusion. “I don’t want to see any future Uncharted titles. They wrapped up the story very nicely and I think it would cheapen that to make more sequels. I really liked how they ended the series and want to see some new IPs from Naughty Dog now.”

This isn’t Dunne’s first Uncharted song. Back in 2012, he released “Keep Drifting,” a song that was inspired by Uncharted 3.

Dunne has released six Miracle of Sound albums on his Bandcamp page, in addition to a Heavy Metal album, instrumental albums and other recordings. Dunne also regularly updates his Miracle of Sound YouTube channel with original songs inspired by video games, films, and television shows.
