Is Our Marvel Infinity Stone Theory Confirmed?

Does Thor have the, ahem, “stones” for the big battle that awaits him at Ragnarok? With Mjolnir seemingly crushed by Hela, is it the end times for hammer time? Be warned: major SPOILERS might follow!

On this Nerdist News special report, Jessica Chobot fills us in on what we’ve learned at Comic-Con about Thor’s latest cinematic adventure, and how it may relate to the final Infinity Gems. Suffice it to say we’ve had some theories, and they look to be coming true based on all we’ve seen in San Diego.

Basically all the new Loki action figures are coming with the Space Stone, stuck in the protective casing we saw in the first Avengers film. But with Thor LEGO sets giving him weirdly blue eyes, could he be busting it out of storage to use its power against Asgard’s enemies in the new movie? We suspect that answer is a big ol’ yes.

But if it’s packaged with Loki, what does that mean? Are the frenemy brothers finally going to make nice? Will they have to fight over it? Do we really have to pick a side in the battle of hunky Norse demigods? Magic 8-Ball says maybe, probably, and unfortunately-but-it’s-okay-Marvel-finds-a-way-t0-please-us-all-eventually.

Sometimes toys do misdirect, though, so be on your As-gard for red herrings. In the meantime, what do you think about all this Norse trading? Is it Hela interesting, or a big O-din? We fully expect you to bring the thunder, and that’s why we have a comments section below for that very purpose.
