Marvel Reveals 12 Covers For UNCANNY X-MEN #600

Back in May, Marvel Comics delayed Uncanny X-Men #600 until October, and the anniversary issue was recently pushed back again to November. But now Uncanny X-Men #600 is only a few weeks away, and Marvel is rolling out the impressive lineup of covers for the issue!

Chris Bachalo is doing the main cover for Uncanny X-Men #600, which features the team in their Marvel NOW!-era costumes. The 11 variant covers feature 9 superstar comic book artists who each revisited a specific point in X-Men history.

Rick Leonardi’s cover tackled the original five X-Men in their first costumes, while Adam Hughes and Ed McGuinness took their cues from Dave Cockrum’s X-Men in the ‘70s, with the members who joined the team in Giant Size X-Men # 1 sharing the spotlight with Cyclops and Phoenix. Art Adams’ cover appears to take place shortly after the “Death of Phoenix” storyline, as Kitty Pryde is present in her original costume.

Comic veteran Paul Smith revisits his own X-Men run with a cover featuring Callisto and the Morlocks, while Olivier Coipel features the X-Men team during their late ‘80s stay in the Australian outback. Leinil Yu brings the early ‘90s X-Men back in his cover, while Kris Anka jumps ahead to Joss Whedon and John Cassaday’s Astonishing X-Men run from 2004.

John Tyler Christopher also contributes three covers for Uncanny X-Men #600 which depict Teen Jean Grey, Teen Iceman and White Queen as action figures from the ‘90s X-Men Toy Biz line. You can see all of these covers in our gallery below!

Uncanny X-Men #600 will finally be released on Wednesday, November 4 as Bendis closes out his X-Men run with 38 pages of story by artists Chris Bachalo, Stuart Immonen, Sara Pichelli, Kris, Anka, Davis Marquez, Frazer Irving, and Mahmud Asrar.
