Mark Millar Talks KINGSMAN 2, New Graphic Novels

We here at Nerdist had the delightful Scottish comic book writer Mark Millar in the studio today, and he told us some very cool information about some new feature film projects he’s working on — including some hints as to who will be directing Kingsman 2! According to Millar, “I think Matthew [Vaughn] made so much money on the first one he’s not going to let someone else take that.” Fingers crossed that this means the Kick-Ass director won’t be too busy working on other projects to bring Eggsy and company back to the big screen.

As far as his written work is concerned, the collected edition of his Chrononauts Volume 1 was just released by Image Comics, but it would be silly to assume the prolific writer only has one release to show off: His Jupiter’s Legacy prequel spinoff Jupiter’s Circle just released the final issue of Volume 1, and you can look forward to the first issue of Jupiter’s Circle Volume 2 hitting shops this November.

Join Jessica Chobot as she talks with Millar about what else we can expect from the Kingsman sequel, and the possible cinematic futures of his latest comic book releases, on today’s Nerdist News!
