Learn the Secrets of Secret Agent Fashion with KINGMAN’s Taron Egerton

Everybody wants to be a spy, right? Not like a real, Kim Philby, John le Carré, whatever those creepy CIA guys do spy–I’m talking about the James Bond kind. Obviously. And hey, anybody with time, extensive training, a background in butt-kickery, and maybe a fancy tailored suit could do that, or at least that’s what I was led to believe when I went to London’s Mayfair district for a crash course in suaveness thanks to the folks behind Kingsman: The Secret Service.

I visited the Huntsman shop on Saville Row, one of the swankiest parts in all of London, to get fitted for a bespoke suit–the kind worn by Colin Firth and Taron Egerton in the film. Manners may maketh man, but a suit alone will not, so I spoke to Mr. Egerton (who played Eggsy in the film) about the extensive training he had to do for Kingsman and he told me about fighting in nice tailored suits, especially when he had to borrow Colin Firth’s for a take.

Kingsman: The Secret Service is available now for Digital HD and will be available for Blu-ray and DVD people on June 9th. The physical media and the iTunes download also come with a fascinating 90-minute making-of documentary that will take you deep undercover with director Matthew Vaughn, comic writer Mark Millar, and the whole cast and crew to tell you everything you need to know about becoming a Kingsman.

If you could be any spy in cinematic history, who would you choose and why? Let’s hear it in the comments.
