Mark Hamill Gets (Sort of) Immortalized as an ARKHAM ASYLUM Joker Figure

Mark Hamill is an enigma in the world of pop culture. For kids that grew up in the ’70s and ’80s, he is and will always be the “last of the Jedi Order,” Luke Skywalker. If you grew up in the ’90s, he is the definitive voice of the Joker. I know when I read Batman comics, he’s what I hear in my head when I read dialogue from the Clown Prince of Crime.

Jedi for some. Joker for others. Some treat him as both equally. Thanks to Hot Toys, you’ll now be able to show your love for Mark Hamill regardless of what form that may be in.

Joker

Hot Toys has released images of their sixth scale Joker figure from the blockbuster hit 2009 video game Arkham Asylum. With Hamill voicing the Joker and the legendary Kevin Conroy as the Dark Knight, this game took the two characters’ rivalry to a level not seen in the animated series.

Joker

Hot Toys already has a plethora of Luke Skywalker figures to choose from, so you now have a chance to start a collection that can represent how you saw or heard Hamill as both a child and as an adult.

The figure comes with a customized handgun, a dart gun with Joker Toxin darts, Hypno glasses, chattering teeth filled with dynamite, handcuffs, and a collectible stand.

It’s very rare that a person can be known so well as two very different iconic characters. If anyone was up for the task, it was definitely Mark Hamill. You can check out more pictures of the figure in the gallery below and, as always, pre-order it at Sideshow Collectibles here.

So what do you think? Will you add or start your Mark Hamill shrine with the Joker? Let me know on Twitter or sound off in the comments below.
