I remember watching Patrick in Jack and Bobby (2003?) and that memorable episode where he commits suicide. Rewatched it recently, and cried all over again!
Holy. Shit. The Dustin Hoffman story was intense. I’ve been in similar situations in acting classes, and in the moment it is THE WORST, but after when you can look back at it you realize it is the friggin’ best thing someone could have done. My experiences were nowhere near AS intense, and especially with no one near as crazy as Dustin Hoffman, but… christ, that is cool.
I looove Patrick J Adams! Especially in Weather Girl and the new show Suits. His photography is amazing.
This was a great listen and back and forth, took a lot away – I’m in a totally different career but I think some of the advice goes beyond acting. Think I’ll go back and listen to the other podcasts now, thanks Riki!
