Prior to this season of Game of Thrones, the Stark sisters Arya and Sansa haven’t had much screen time together. More recently, they’ve even been at each others’ throats, barring a clever fake out. But off-camera, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner seem thick as thieves. And that connection was in full display during an excerpt from their upcoming episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series.
Via Entertainment Weekly, the new clip from Carpool Karaoke: The Series finds Williams and Turner recalling a game that they used to play. Apparently they both love doing impressions of Sean Bean, the man who played their onscreen father, Ned Stark. And once they get started, they just can’t seem to stop, even if it means an extended version of Sir Mix A Lot’s “Baby Got Back” or The Lion King‘s “Hakuna Matata.”
This particular episode of Carpool Karaoke was filmed during Williams and Turner’s appearance at the South by Southwest event back in March. In the following clip, the two young women team up to surprise some Game of Thrones fans before belting out more tunes in the car.
Carpool Karaoke: The Series is based upon the popular segment from The Late Late Show with James Corden. While Corden won’t be hosting the new incarnation on Apple Music, Williams and Turner will be followed by other celebrity pairings including LeBron James, Ariana Grande, Seth MacFarlane, Miley Cyrus, Shakira, Gwyneth Paltrow, and more.
Williams and Turner’s episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series will premiere tonight on Apple Music.
