Are you one still on the fence about EA’s upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront? You may want to peep the video above. This new multiplayer gameplay video is 5 minutes of pure, fast-paced, silky-smooth, action. Captured on the PS4, this pre-alpha footage consists of a battle on Hoth, as the rebel forces attempt to stave off the onslaught of AT-AT walkers and TIE fighters. First and foremost, this thing looks graphically stunning; the snowy planet has never looked this good.
Gameplay-wise, the combat looks extremely diverse. From what we can tell from the video, you can fight on foot, in the air, and even control the firepower of an AT-AT walker. These different sorts of gameplay styles should provide plenty of variety to the online multiplayer title.
Even the sounds were on point. From the classic music to the sound of different fighters jetting overhead, everything sounds the way it should. At the very end, Luke makes an unlikely appearance, pulling out his lightsaber and wielding the force like a boss. Confirming the Jedi master will be playable when the title releases.
