Link Returns In An All New THE LEGEND OF ZELDA Adventure

Let out a triumphant “HAAAGHP!” because Nintendo has given everyone a first look at the newest The Legend of Zelda title and it’s an open-world treat.

Unveiled during Nintendo’s special E3 digital event, we receive our first glimpse at our hero Link, cloaked atop horseback, looking towards a mountainous horizon – mountains that we were never able to travel through until now. The peace doesn’t last long though, as a monster appears and Link is thrown into a battle where he uses a bow and arrow to fight off the tentacle-ridden beast. Perhaps the craziest moment in the trailer, the iconic green tunic is gone and now we see Link fitted with a blue and yellow outfit. Uh huh, totally awesome. But enough my ramblings, jump to 19:55 to take a look at the all new Hyrule:

This iteration of the Hyrulian hero has been on everyone’s wish list. Link is sporting a new look and the game is an open world adventure, which is something that’s never been done before by a Zelda title. It’s a more than welcome addition to the franchise and I’m sure that I’m not alone when I say that I’m ready to shell out a few rupees for the game when it releases in 2015 for the Wii U.
