Leslie Jones Live-Tweeting AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Is Everything

Twitter can sometimes be a toxic place, but it can also sometimes deliver joy when you least expect it. Case in point: comedian Leslie Jones of Saturday Night Live and Ghostbusters fame has a tendency to share absolutely delightful live-tweets for shows and movies she’s watching. She’s taken to Twitter for Game of Thrones and several seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and it was everything. Now, via Entertainment Weekly, we’ve learned she turned her attention to Avengers: Infinity War. She just watched the film the very first time, and her reactions are priceless.

(Update: In case you joined us for the first round of Jones’ tweets, we’re pleased to inform you that she has at last finished the movie and her corresponding live-tweet marathon. Revel in her reactions to the ending below!)

Leslie shares the collective thirst for Chris Evans as Captain America, and like the rest of us, she wishes she had an Iron Man suit of her own (hers, apparently, would be purple, which I can totally get behind). She didn’t know Spider-Man was in the movie, and when she found out her surprise was like a little kid getting the toy they most wanted on Christmas morning. Read her tweets for yourself…at least all the ones so far. The movie was too much excitement for her, and she had to pause halfway through. We totally understand.

After a much-needed break, Jones returned to her Infinity War tweet-a-thon. Here begins the second act of this masterpiece:

And there you have it. What did you think of Leslie Jones’ live-tweet session? Be sure to let us know down below in the comments.
